\n\t\t\t\tTo safely operate and maintain a concrete boom pump to deliver ready-mix concrete to designated locations on construction sites, ensuring efficiency, quality placement, and adherence to safety standards.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tOperate and control the boom pump during concrete placement\u2022\tPerform pre-start inspections (hydraulics, outriggers, pipeline, safety systems)\u2022\tEnsure proper setup and stabilization of the pump on-site\u2022\tMonitor concrete flow to prevent:\uf0fc\tBlockages\uf0fc\tLine bursts\uf0fc\tSegregation\u2022\tCarry out post-operation cleaning and routine maintenance\u2022\tMaintain daily operation logs and safety recordsSafety Requirements\u2022\tStrict adherence to all site safety procedures\u2022\tStrong understanding of:\uf0fc\tSafe outrigger deployment\uf0fc\tWorking near power lines\uf0fc\tLoad limits and boom reach restrictions\u2022\tConsistent use of PPE:\uf0fc\tHelmet\uf0fc\tReflective vest\uf0fc\tSafety boots\uf0fc\tGloves\uf0fc\tEye protectionMechanical Knowledge\u2022\tBasic troubleshooting skills for:\uf0fc\tHydraulic systems\uf0fc\tPipeline blockages\uf0fc\tPump wear parts (pistons, seals, valves)\u2022\tAbility to identify faults early and report for maintenance<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience operating a concrete boom pump \/ truck-mounted pump\u2022\tStrong understanding of:\uf0fc\tConcrete mix behaviour (slump, flow, segregation)\uf0fc\tPump pressure and flow control\uf0fc\tBoom placement and stability\u2022\tProven ability to:\uf0fc\tSafely set up, extend, and operate the boom\uf0fc\tCoordinate effectively with batching plant operators and site teams\uf0fc\tClean and maintain pipelines after pumpingCertifications\u2022\tConcrete pump operation certification (from a reputable construction entity)\u2022\tFirst Aid training (added advantage)<\/p>\n
