Compile case studies, promote MAG\u2019s activities at events within the mine action anddonor community and support with high-level external liaison<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tJob Specification\u2022 Develop, monitor &amp; maintain efficient and effective grant management systems, which meet programmeand HQ requirements. This will also include liaison with HQ.\u2022 Day\u2010to\u2010day monitoring of grants, contracts &amp; outputs according to work plans agreed by the CD\u2022 Support the CD to ensure that objectives are achieved regarding grant management and preparation ofdonor reporting.\u2022 Provide timely &amp; accurate information, analysis and reports on grant and proposal status as required.\u2022 Compile and submit donor reports in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.\u2022 Work with the Country Director and MAG HQ to prepare and submit funding proposals.\u2022 Provide administrative support to the CD in respect of new projects\/initiatives within the programme.\u2022 Coordinate the collection of information, and draft funding proposals for submission to MAG HQ forapproval, as directed by the CD.\u2022 Provide support to the CD and UK HQ in identifying and collecting information on possible future donorsand funding opportunities to support MAG activities.\u2022 Support the CD in creating and maintaining relationships with donors, partners and other parties asrequired.\u2022 Assist in donor liaison, project planning, liaison with other organisations and PR activities.\u2022 Assist in planning and hosting of programme visits by MAG staff, donors and partner agencies.\u2022 Assist in the planning and implementation of external events and organisational visibility initiatives.\u2022 Support the CD in liaison and coordination with the national mine action authority and other relevantexternal stakeholders and organisations and attend sector coordination and bilateral meetings and eventswhen required.\u2022 Maintain systems for recording programme activities and outputs.\u2022 Provide relevant materials, case studies, photographs, events and media contracts in line with MAG\u2019scorporate profile, identity and message as directed by the CD and in Co-ordination with MAG HQ.\u2022 Maintain appropriate internal reporting formats and ensure effective internal information flow.All staff are expected to undertake the following general duties:\u2022 Work within the framework of MAG\u2019s core values, promoting its ethos and mission statement.\u2022 Work towards achieving programme and\/or department business plan objectives.\u2022 Ensure familiarity with and adhere to all MAG policies and procedures and keep informed of MAGactivities.\u2022 Undertake and apply learning from appropriate training and development programmes.\u2022 Undertake the role in developing countries and areas in conflict where standards of living may be basic.\u2022 Undertake the role in a manner appropriate to the cultural context and within the local legal framework.\u2022 Understand and uphold the standards outlined in MAG\u2019s Safeguarding Framework, acting with due careand attention to safeguard the wellbeing of anyone that encounters MAG\u2019s work and reporting concernsif they do arise.This is a non-contractual document that can be varied from time to time as circumstances dictate.
