\n\t\t\t\tApplications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons to fill in the following vacancy that has arisen within Croco Holdings group.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tKey Responsibilities\u2022 Construct and raise slimes dam walls using tailings (slurry) and\/or borrow materials in line with approved designs.\u2022 Shape and compact wall lifts to maintain required slope angles and stability.\u2022 Work with plant operators to manage discharge points (spigots) for uniform wall growth.\u2022 Prevent formation of weak zones, soft spots, or uneven loading.Assist in managing return water systems, paddocks, and penstocks.Ensure proper drainage and prevent water accumulation near wall edges.Monitors decant systems and report any malfunction.Identify hazards such as liquefaction risk, unstable ground, and seepage zones.Ensure proper use of PPE and safe access routes on the dam.\u2022 Prevent environmental contamination and report spills or breaches immediately.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tKey Skills and Attributes\u2022 Knowledge of tailings dam operations in gold processing.\u2022 Ability to work in wet, unstable, and hazardous conditions.\u2022 Strong awareness of safety and environmental risks.Teamwork and communication skills.\u2022 Physical endurance and reliability.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience\u2022 Minimum: O-Level or equivalent.\u2022 Experience in gold mining, tailings dam construction, or earthworks preferred\u2022 Basic understanding of slurry behaviour and dam wall construction is an advantage.\u2022 On-site training is typically provided<\/p>\n
