\n\t\t\t\tApplications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons to fill in the following vacancy that has arisen within Croco Holdings group.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022 Assist in carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on diesel equipment.\u2022 Support repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and braking systems.\u2022 Help dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble components under supervision.\u2022 Perform routine servicing such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.\u2022 Assist in maintaining mining equipment such as:\u2022 Dump trucks\u2022 Excavators\u2022 Front-end loaders\u2022 Dozers and graders\u2022 Assist in conducting routine inspections and identifying mechanical faults.\u2022 Report defects and abnormal equipment behavior to the supervisor.\u2022 Follow safe lifting, handling, and lockout\/tagout procedures.\u2022 Report hazards, near misses, and incidents immediately.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tKey Skills and Attributes\u2022 Basic mechanical and technical skills.\u2022 Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.\u2022 Good problem-solving ability.\u2022 Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding conditions.\u2022 Strong commitment to satety.\u2022 Exposure to oil, grease, dust, noise, and heavy machinery.\u2022 Shift work, including standby and emergency breakdown response.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Minimum: National Certificate \/ Class 4 Journeyman (Diesel Plant Fitting) or equivalent.\u2022 Basic mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment.\u2022 2-4 years’ experience in a mining or heavy equipment environment is an advantage.<\/p>\n
