Job Description
\n\t\t\t\tReporting to the Director Investments, the successful candidate will be responsible for execution and overseeing property development projects within NSSA\u2019s portfolio. The role ensures accountability, efficiency, and the timely delivery of projects, while coordinating with contractors, consultants, regulators, and internal stakeholders.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tKey OutputsLead planning, execution, and monitoring of property development projects across both greenfield and brownfield projects.Oversee contractor and consultant engagement, ensuring compliance with contracts, timelines, and quality standards.Coordinate with regulators, local authorities, and stakeholders to secure approvals and resolve project-related challenges.Monitor budgets, disbursements, and financial performance of projects, ensuring cost control and value for money.Provide regular project status reports to senior management.Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project outcomes.Ensure proper closure and handover of completed projects, including compliance with Deferred Liability Period (DLP) obligations.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tQualifying RequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Business Studies, Investment or related field.A Master\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Msc in Project Management, Investment or equivalent will be an added advantage.A professional qualification in project management (PMP0, PTONCE2 or equivalent will be an added advantage.A minimum of 4 years in property development, construction, real estate or project managementKey Competencies and CharacteristicsStrong project planning and execution skills.Strong project planning and execution skills.Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.Financial acumen with ability to manage budgets and cost controls.Risk management and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and reporting skills.Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams under pressure.<\/p>\n
