\n\t\t\t\tDevelopment Aid from People to People (DAPP) Zimbabwe is a Private Voluntary Organisation registered under the Ministry of Labour and Social Services in 1980 (Registration No. PVO 22\/80). The Organisation implements programmes across five key sectors: Agriculture, Health, Education, Community Development and Emergency Response.<\/p>\n
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Graduate Trainee to join our Communications Department. DAPP Zimbabwe invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for a position that has arisen under our Communications Department.Job Title: Communications Graduate Trainee Organisation: DAPP ZimbabweLocation: Onsite Highlands, Harare, ZimbabwePosition Summary<\/p>\n
The Graduate Trainee will support the Communications team in implementing communication strategies, content creation and stakeholder engagement activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical experience in a fast-paced development environment. The interested candidate should be between 18 to 35 years.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tAssist in developing and implementing communication strategies \u2022\tCreate content for newsletters, reports, social media and the website \u2022\tSupport documentation of projects, including photography and storytelling \u2022\tAssist in organizing events and campaigns \u2022\tMaintain and update communication platforms \u2022\tSupport media engagement and public relations activities<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tA Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field from a reputable institution.\u2022\tStrong written and verbal communication skills \u2022\tBasic knowledge of social media management and digital communication tools \u2022\tCreativity and attention to detail \u2022\tAbility to work both independently and as part of a team \u2022\tProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite <\/p>\n
Added Advantages\u2022\tExperience in content creation, graphic design or photography \u2022\tKnowledge of development sector communication <\/p>\n
