\n\t\t\t\tJob SummaryCimas Health Group, driven by its purpose to inspire healthier communities, seeks a highly motivated Typist to provide accurate and timely transcription of Radiologists and Sonographers’ reports and observations, in line with professional standards and established procedures.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tThe successful candidate will be responsible for:\u2022Transcribing Radiologists’ dictated reports and clinical observations accurately and efficiently.\u2022 Proofreading and editing reports to ensure correct medical terminology, grammar and formatting.\u2022 Ensuring timely turnaround of reports in line with set service level standards.\u2022 Maintaining confidentiality of patient information in line with ethical and legal requirements.\u2022 Liaising with Radiologists and relevant staff to clarify unclear dictations or discrepancies.\u2022 Managing and organising digital records and transcription workflows effectively.\u2022 Supporting administrative processes within the radiology unit where required.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tKey CompetenciesThe ideal candidate must have excellent typing speed and accuracy, with strong attention to detail. They should possess good verbal and written communication skills and be able to produce clear, error-free reports. The candidate must be able to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and maintain a high level of confidentiality.<\/p>\n
Qualifications\u2022 Diploma or Certificate in Secretarial Studies, Medical Transcription, or equivalent.\u2022 Proven experience as a typist or transcriptionist (medical or radiology experience is an added advantage).\u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transcription tools.\u2022 Strong command of the English language and medical terminology.<\/p>\n
