\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u25aa Monitors surveillance systems to detect security breaches, suspicious activityand incidents\u25aa Monitor surveillance systems to detect security breaches, suspiciousactivities, and incidents.\u25aa Verify alerts received and assess suspicious activities to confirm incidents.\u25aa Control PTZ camera functions, including pan, tilt, and zoom, to maintaineffective visual coverage.\u25aa Manage access control systems and ensure only authorized personnel accessrestricted areas.\u25aa Receive and respond to alarms in accordance with Command Centre SOPs.\u25aa Report security breaches and incidents of interest promptly and accurately.\u25aa Relay real-time information to relevant stakeholders to support timelyresponse.\u25aa Dispatch appropriate response resources to attend to incidents as required.\u25aa Coordinate communication with relevant stakeholders, including Police andSecurity Teams, in line with Command Centre SOPs and policies.\u25aa Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date registers and logs of all eventsand activities.\u25aa Securely store records and prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.\u25aa Ensure records and logs are easily retrievable when required.\u25aa Record, store, and securely preserve digital footage in accordance withCommand Centre SOPs and policies.\u25aa Ensure strict adherence to approved procedures when retrieving storeddigital footage.\u25aa Prepare periodic, incident, and ad-hoc reports as required and in line withestablished procedures.\u25aa Ensure Command Centre equipment is clean, functional, and in usable conditionat all times.\u25aa Maintain the Command Centre in a clean, safe, and hygienic state.\u25aa Ensure the safety, security, and proper handling of all Command Centreequipment.\u25aa Enforce access control to the Command Centre, ensuring entry is restrictedto authorized personnel only.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tJob Skills and Competencies\u25aa Ability to operate CCTV, PTZ cameras, alarms, and access control systems inline with established procedures.\u25aa Ability to conduct trouble shooting to determine system challenges forescalation.\u25aa Strong situational awareness to identify, verify, and respond to securityincidents, including timely escalation and dispatch of resources.\u25aa Competence in maintaining accurate logs, reports, and secure records,including proper handling and retrieval of digital footage.\u25aa Ability to relay clear, real-time information and coordinate effectively withsecurity teams, law enforcement, and other stakeholders.\u25aa Strict adherence to SOPs, data protection requirements, and ethicalstandards when handling sensitive information and evidence.\u25aa Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure environmentswhile working shifts and maintaining operational discipline.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience\u25aa A Diploma or degree in Electronics\/Information Management Systems \/Information Communication Technology \/ Geospatial Intelligence \/ GeographicInformation Systems \/ Intelligence Management or equivalent.\u25aa At least two (2) years\u2019 experience in electronic surveillance systemsinstallation & maintenance, CCTV\/bio-metric systems operation, ICT systemsinstallation & maintenance, geo-spatial intelligence operations, intelligenceanalysis or in any of the above cited fields.\u25aa Five (5) \u2018O\u2019 Levels including English Language, Mathematics and Science\u25aa A clean class four (4) driver\u2019s licence is an advantage.<\/p>\n
