\n\t\t\t\tENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN (Grade 8)Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced and task-oriented persons to fill the above-mentioned position.Reporting to: Environmental Health Officer<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022 Infectious disease surveillance, investigation, control and contact tracing.\u2022 Premises inspection\/health inspections for licensing, routine and control investigations.\u2022 Water and food quality monitoring.\u2022 Solid waste management.\u2022 Community health and hygiene education.\u2022 Production of health reports.\u2022 Any other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Environmental Health Officer.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022 At least a Diploma in Environmental Health or equivalence.\u2022 A valid EHPCZ practising certificate.\u2022 At least one year relevance experience.\u2022 Not more than 55 years of age.<\/p>\n
