Job Description
\n\t\t\t\tWe are seeking motivated Civil Engineering graduates to contribute to the planning, supervision, and execution of residential housing and commercial construction projects while gaining practical experience in site operations, project coordination, quality control, contractor management, technical reporting, and compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tUnderstanding project requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor.\u2022\tShadowing senior staff members, asking questions, and assisting wherever possible.\u2022\tEnsuring that sites meet all the legal, health and safety guidelines.\u2022\tMonitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.\u2022\tEnsuring that the project work goes on smoothly according to schedule.\u2022\tGetting accurate information on the needs and requirements of clients.\u2022\tMaking recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.\u2022\tConfidently liaising with clients, architects and other professional subcontractors to ensure projects progress properly.\u2022\tCollaborates with surveyors to establish installations or reference points, grades, elevations, and other factors that will affect construction.\u2022\tMonitors project progress and ensures design specifications are met.\u2022\tMonitor the site work and prepare status reports for the management.\u2022\tAssesses strength of foundations, concrete, or steel by testing materials and soil.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tBachelor\u2019s degree OR Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering.\u2022\tThorough understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools.\u2022\tProficient in computer-assisted design (CAD) and other design, data recording, and analyzation software.\u2022\tThorough understanding of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings, bridges, roads, and other related structures.\u2022\tAbility to identify and solve complex problems.\u2022\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/p>\n
