\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tKey Responsibilities \u25aa\tDesign, implement and monitor Windows infrastructure platforms across ZIMRA\u2019s ICT environment \u25aa\tEnsuring system availability, performance and resilience. \u25aa\tSafeguard critical enterprise systems \u25aa\tEnforce patching schedules, validate backup routines \u25aa \tMonitor server health and escalating anomalies. \u25aa\tEnsures ZIMRA\u2019s infrastructure remains resilient, compliant and aligned with COBIT \u25aa\tSupport enterprise ICT and digital transformation initiatives aligned to ZIMRA strategic objectives and modern tax administration requirements. \u25aa\tEnsure availability, resilience, optimisation, governance and security of mission-critical taxpayer-facing systems and enterprise platforms. \u25aa\tImplement governance controls, operational standards, audit requirements and compliance frameworks aligned to COBIT, ITIL, ISO\/IEC 27001 \u25aa\tConduct monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis, risk mitigation and continuous service improvement activities. \u25aa\tMaintain audit-ready documentation, governance artefacts, compliance evidence, technical standards and operational dashboards. \u25aa\tCollaborate with business units, vendors, financial institutions, regulators and multidisciplinary ICT teams to improve enterprise service delivery. \u25aa\tSupport disaster recovery, business continuity, cyber resilience and operational continuity initiatives across enterprise systems. \u25aa\tMentor specialists and technical teams while promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tJob Skills and Competencies Proficiency in enterprise Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP). Strong knowledge of virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and hybrid cloud integration (Azure, AWS). Experience with enterprise backup and recovery tools (Veeam, Commvault, Microsoft DPM). \u25aa\tCompetence in patch governance, lifecycle management and configuration baselines. \u25aa\tUnderstanding of monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, SCOM, Zabbix) and performance tuning at enterprise scale. \u25aa\tFamiliarity with cloud integration (Azure, AWS) for hybrid infrastructure \u25aa\tUnderstanding of enterprise ICT governance, cybersecurity, digital transformation data protection environments. \u25aa\tKnowledge of enterprise governance frameworks including COBIT 2019, ITIL 4, ISO\/IEC 27001 and data protection legislation. \u25aa\tStrong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and operational risk management capability. \u25aa\tAbility to work effectively in multidisciplinary, high-pressure and mission-critical environments. \u25aa\tExcellent \tcommunication, \tstakeholder \tengagement, \ttechnical \treporting \tand presentation skills. \u25aa\tStrong understanding of enterprise systems integration, operational resilience, audit readiness and compliance management. \u25aa\tAbility to manage priorities, support operational excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives. <\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience \u25aa\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent discipline. \u25aa\tAt least one certification in Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional or any equivalent certification \u25aa\tRelevant enterprise ICT, infrastructure applications development, systems integration, or digital services experience. \u25aa\tAt least 5 years\u2019 experience supporting large-scale enterprise platforms or public sector digital transformation initiatives.<\/p>\n
