SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER \u2013 PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT UNIT \u2013 LEVEL 10 (1 POST)<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tKey Responsibilities\u25aa Prepare order creation and placing the same with suppliers.\u25aa Request for quotations for competitive bidding.\u25aa Provide secretariat services and technical expertise to the lower ProcurementCommittee.\u25aa Ensure the thresholds are adhered to as governed in the Procurement Regulations.\u25aa Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.\u25aa Assist in monitoring contracts with respect to performance, deliverables andcontract expiration dates.\u25aa Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that allitems are delivered to the warehouse on time.\u25aa Attend to open purchase requisitions in fulfilment of purchase orders.\u25aa Monitor performance for competitive bidding.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tJob Skills and Competencies\u25aa Self- starter with ability to work under pressure and beyond stipulated hours.\u25aa Unquestionable integrity.\u25aa Good interpersonal and communication skills.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience\u25aa A degree in Administration \/ Business Administration \/ Logistics \/ Supply ChainManagement \/ Purchasing & Supply Management or equivalent.\u25aa An MBA \/ MBL \/ MSc is an added advantage.\u25aa Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.\u25aa Full Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) membership is an addedadvantage.\u25aa At least one (1) year work experience in a Public Procurement Environment.<\/p>\n
