\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tKey Responsibilities\u25aa Ensure daily reconciliation of revenue figures from the TaRMS and ASYCUDAsubledger modules to SAP and bank statements. Reconcile all bank receipts capturedin TaRMS and ASYCUDA against bank statements on a daily basis.\u25aa Oversee and supervise the preparation of daily bank reconciliations by staff.\u25aa Ensure bank reconciliations for Revenue Bank Accounts are completed daily.\u25aa Ensure all reconciliation working papers and supporting documents are properlyfiled and readily accessible when required.\u25aa Monitor and ensure all open items are cleared within prescribed timelines, with noitem remaining outstanding for more than 30 days.\u25aa Ensure all misposts, duplications, and reconciliation discrepancies are promptlycorrected or reversed.\u25aa Liaise with banks to resolve misposts, duplications, and other reconciliation issues.\u25aa Review and approve monthly bank reconciliation statements and file.\u25aa Draft annual sectional strategic plan proposals.\u25aa Implement approved sectional plans and monitor sectional performance on a dailybasis.\u25aa Assess and monitor operational risks within the section on a daily basis.\u25aa Update the divisional\/sectional risk register on a monthly basis.\u25aa Review and update the Business Continuity Plan quarterly.\u25aa Recommend systems improvements and work on improving automation in the areaof responsibility.\u25aa Supervise staff and ensure compliance with the organisation\u2019s performanceManagement system.\u25aa Evaluate staff performance on a quarterly basis in line with the performanceManagement system.\u25aa Timely address client queries.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tJob Skills and Competencies\u25aa Good interpersonal and communication skills.\u25aa Innovative and passionate to support organisational transformation.\u25aa Self-starter with ability to work under pressure and beyond stipulated hours.\u25aa Team player who can actively participate in and coordinate successful teams.\u25aa Unquestionable integrity.Qualifications and Experience\u25aa A degree in accounting or equivalent.\u25aa A professional qualification with professional bodies such as ICAZ, ACCA and CGI orat least working towards qualification.\u25aa Five (5) years\u2019 experience in an accounting environment and staff supervisionexperience.\u25aa Five (5) \u2018O\u2019 Levels including English Language, Mathematics and Science\u25aa Traceable working knowledge of SAP and Asycuda are key.\u25aa A clean class four (4) driver\u2019s licence is an advantage.<\/p>\n
