\n\t\t\t\tThe Zimbabwe Red Cross Society through its Strategic Business Unit, Red Cross High School, is inviting suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Heritage Studies Teacher.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tPlanning and delivering Heritage Studies lessons effectively up to Advanced Level \u2022\tPreparing learners for public examinations up to A Level \u2022\tAssessing, monitoring, and evaluating student performance and progress \u2022\tDeveloping schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching materials \u2022\tMaintaining discipline and effective classroom management \u2022\tParticipating in school academic, sporting, and co-curricular activities \u2022\tProviding guidance and mentorship to learners \u2022\tUpholding the values and standards of the school together with principles of the Zimbabwe Red Cross Society<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tA Degree in Heritage Studies, History, or related field \u2022\tA relevant teaching qualification \u2022\tAbility to teach Heritage Studies up to Advanced Level \u2022\tRelevant teaching experience will be an added advantage \u2022\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills \u2022\tGood classroom management and learner engagement abilities \u2022\tPassion for teaching and learner development Desired Attributes\u2022\tHigh level of professionalism and integrity \u2022\tAbility to work under minimum supervision \u2022\tTeam player with strong organizational skills \u2022\tCommitment to child protection and safeguarding principles Safeguarding CommitmentZimbabwe Red Cross Society is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and has zero tolerance for Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH) and child abuse.<\/p>\n
