We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Trainee to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience and develop a career in electrical quantity surveying and estimation under the guidance of our experienced professionals.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tRole OverviewAs a Graduate Trainee Electrical QS \/ Estimator, you will work closely with our engineers and project managers, learning the full scope of electrical project estimation and cost management. You will receive structured mentorship and on-the-job training throughout the programme.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities\u2022\tAssist in preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labour, and other relevant factors.\u2022\tSupport the creation of electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD or similar software, under supervision.\u2022\tCollaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.\u2022\tReview project specifications and blueprints to check accuracy and compliance.\u2022\tAssist in communicating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather necessary project information.\u2022\tHelp prepare and submit accurate project bids and proposals.\u2022\tDevelop knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.\u2022\tParticipate in site visits and project meetings to build practical industry experience.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tQualifications\u2022\tDiploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field \u2014 recently completed or awaiting results.\u2022\tBasic understanding of electrical systems and components gained through academic study.\u2022\tExposure to AutoCAD or similar drafting software (academic or personal projects are welcome).\u2022\tFamiliarity with cost estimation or quantity surveying principles, even at a theoretical level.\u2022\tProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).What We Are Looking For\u2022\tA self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and grow within the electrical industry.\u2022\tGood analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.\u2022\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills \u2014 able to work well in a team environment.\u2022\tAbility to interpret technical drawings and specifications.\u2022\tGood organisational and time-management skills.\u2022\tA proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.<\/p>\n
