\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\uf0fc\tAssisting the Supply Chain Manager with product purchasing and pricing.\uf0fc\tMonitor fuel inventory, track fuel usage, manage depot capacity to prevent stockouts or overstocking and generating supply chain and inventory reports for management. \uf0fc\tSchedule and coordinate fuel replenishment orders to prevent stock-outs.\uf0fc\tAssist in forecasting fuel demand using market trends and operational data\uf0fc\tRecording transactions of booked product trades accurately in the ERP system and maintaining up-to-date transaction records. \uf0fc\tAnalyse fuel consumption trends and delivery performance.\uf0fc\tCoordinate effective communication between internal and external operations. \uf0fc\tTracking of product received under the credit facility and supplier credit balances and ensuring the invoices are paid before the due date.\uf0fc\tRequesting product releases and invoices from suppliers.\uf0fc\tSubmitting of fuel invoices for payments.\uf0fc\tProcessing of duty-related documentation, including requesting duty invoices, submitting payments to NOIC, and maintaining release records.\uf0fc\tLubricants purchasing and reconciliations of delivered quantities against invoices and site receiving records. \uf0fc\tRetail sites price changes in FileMaker and ERP system.\uf0fc\tCoordinate with regulatory authorities where necessary.\uf0fc\tMonitor transportation performance and delivery turnaround times. \uf0fc\tCoordinate fuel transportation and delivery routes for maximum efficiency.\uf0fc\tSupport cost-control initiatives related to transportation and inventory management.\uf0fc\tMonitor and manage delivery schedules and logistics plans. \uf0fc\tLiaise with transporters, depot operators, and retail site managers.\uf0fc\tEnsure accurate documentation of fuel movements, invoices, delivery notes, and inventory records. \uf0fc\tMonitor tanker\/truck movements and delivery timelines. \uf0fc\tResolve logistics disruptions, delays, or emergency supply issues promptly. \uf0fc\tGenerate daily, weekly, and monthly logistics and supply reports\uf0fc\tEnsure transportation and storage activities comply with petroleum industry regulations and safety standards. \uf0fc\tEnsure transporters and contractors maintain required licenses and certifications\uf0fc\tEnsure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and industry regulations. \uf0fc\tTrack fuel movements from loading terminals to delivery points. \uf0fc\tMonitoring of the loading and offloading reports of the fuel transported via rail and claiming of losses where necessary.\uf0fc\tReconcile fuel vendor accounts and confirm credit balances, including NOIC.\uf0fc\tRequest invoices and arrange rental payments and hospitality fee payments for the depots, namely Dabuka, Total, and Zuva.\uf0fc\tProcessing of inspections and clearance payments for COTECNA and LARKCON.\uf0fc\tShare the monthly lubricants invoice with Finance for VAT processing.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\uf0fc\tUndergraduate University Degree in Business or Supply Chain or other related field\uf0fc\tMin 3 years oil industry experience in product supply\uf0fc\tExperienced in sales and costing an advantage\uf0fc\tKnowledge of Microsoft Office\uf0fc\tFluent in English\uf0fc\tBusiness Knowledge\uf0fc\tExperience in Retail service station operations\uf0fc\tSolid retail fuels business knowledge\uf0fc\tProven track record of delivering performance and an attitude of can do, and ability to troubleshoot, solve problems and adapt.<\/p>\n
