\n\t\t\t\tWE’RE HIRINGLEGAL SERVICES OFFICER: LEGALSERVICES DEPARTMENT: BULAWAYO<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tJob Responsibilities:\u2022 Preparing legal submissions and representing NRZ in civil claims, criminal prosecutions and labour court proceedings.\u2022 Providing timely and sound legal advice on diverse issues affecting| NRZ operations, including verbal and writtenconsultations.\u2022 Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal documents to ensure compliance with current laws and enforceability.\u2022 Ensuring Alternate Dispute Resolution options are exercised and exhausted first before litigation.\u2022 Ensuring the organisation’s operations are aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.\u2022 Participating in disciplinary processes and appeals, ensuring legally compliant and fair outcomes in collaboration with the Human Resources and Administration Branch.\u2022 Staying abreast of legislative and regulatory developments that may impact NRZ and advising accordingly.\u2022 Supporting the organisation’s data privacy and protection compliance issues and liaising with Data Protection Authority.\u2022 Conducting training and awareness sessions on legal and data protection matters.\u2022 Filing and tracking of all legal documents, contracts, correspondences, court orders and any other relevant reports.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tRequirements:\u2022 a) Have a relevant Law Degree (e.g. LLBDegree) from a recognised institution.\u2022 b) Be a registered Legal Practitioner or significant progress towards registration.\u2022 c) Have at least three (3) years’relevantexperience in a legal environment.\u2022 d) Have strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to NRZ, transport and logistics sector.<\/p>\n
