Job Description
\n\t\t\t\tWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Claims Clerk to support the efficient processing and administration of claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, capturing, and filing claims documentation, verifying information for accuracy and completeness and assisting with claim investigations and customer queries. The role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within set deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and excellent customer service standards. Previous experience in insurance, healthcare, finance, or claims administration will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tReceive, register and process incoming claims documentation\u2022\tVerify claim information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company procedures\u2022\tCapture and update claims data in the system accurately and promptly\u2022\tMaintain organized electronic and physical claim records and files\u2022\tCommunicate with clients, service providers, and internal departments regarding claim requirements and status updates\u2022\tFollow up on outstanding documents and supporting information\u2022\tAssist in investigating and resolving claim discrepancies or queries\u2022\tPrepare reports, correspondence, and claim-related documentation as required\u2022\tEnsure claims are processed within agreed timelines and service standards\u2022\tMaintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times\u2022\tProvide administrative support to the claims department when needed\u2022\tAdhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tDiploma or Degree in Health Services Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field\u2022\tMinimum of 1\u20132 years\u2019 experience in claims administration, insurance, or a similar administrative role.\u2022\tAt least 5 O\u2019 Levels including English Language and Mathematics\u2022\tProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word\u2022\tAbility to submit claims via Health 263.\u2022\tAbility to handle confidential information professionally\u2022\tGood organizational and time-management skills\u2022\tAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines<\/p>\n
