\n\t\t\t\tA private company is looking for a specialist individual to help establish, operate and manage a clean and renewable energy One Stop Shop Centre specialising in the procurement, selling, installation and testing of Solar systems and accessories as well as solarised irrigation system equipment and accessories in Harare.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tExperience required<\/p>\n
The individual being sought for a fixed term contract is expected to have the following experience and skills; \u2022\tExperience working for an established solar and\/or solar irrigation systems company\u2022\tHave traceable contacts in procurement of solar accessories \u2022\tHave experience in installation of solar systems \u2022\tProven knowledge and skills to manage and run a solar shop \u2022\tSkills in solar systems and\/or solarised borehole installation, technical designs and sizing. \u2022\tAbility to assess household or commercial solar system requirements and demands as well as site conditions.\u2022\tExperience in vetting and procuring solar batteries, solar pumps, panels, controllers, VFDs, piping, and other accessories \u2022\tVet and source\/procure solarised irrigation equipment: submersible\/surface pumps, drip\/sprinkler kits, filters, fertigation units\u2022\tAbility to produce Bill of Quantities and technical drawings\u2022\tUnderstanding of ZERA standards and energy demand standards and regulatory aspects in Zimbabwe. \u2022\tSupervision of solar shop and installation teams and experience in performance testing \u2022\tProvision of after sales and technical support and training of team members. \u2022\tReceive stock, check deliveries, update inventory system\u2022\tDo daily stock counts and cycle counts<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tRequired Qualifications & Skills<\/p>\n
\u2022\tEducation: Diploma\/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Agricultural Engineering, or related field\u2022\tExperience: 4+ years working with solar PV + solar water pumping\/irrigation systems. \u2022\tZERA or other installer certification is an advantage\u2022\tSoft skills: Training\/facilitation, problem-solving, ability to work with rural communities\u2022\tMarketing skills are required. \u2022\tExperience in retail, hardware, electrical, or Agri-inputs shop is desirable \u2022\tValid driver\u2019s licence is required but can be acquired while on the job.\u2022\t Willingness to travel to remote areas.<\/p>\n
