    Key Functions & Responsibilities
     

    Develop and implement short- and long-term plans and budgets for mining operations at various site locations.
    Oversee all activities at mining sites and ensure they are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, and maintain safety standards.
    Provide technical advice and guidance to support the development and implementation of sound mining practices.
    Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, communities, and employees.
    Ensure that all mining activities comply with environmental regulations and promote the implementation of environmentally sustainable practices.
    Prepare periodic reports to management on production and performance indicators and make recommendations for improvement.

     
     
    Qualifications & Experience
     
     

    Certificate in Cement Production or a relevant field.
    A minimum of 25 years’ experience in the mining industry, with significant experience at a senior management level.
    In-depth knowledge of mining operations, mine planning, and safety procedures.
    Sound financial acumen, including experience in budgeting and forecasting.
    Strong leadership and managerial skills with demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    Proficiency in both Chinese and English (spoken and written) is essential.

    Job Purpose
     
     
    Co-ordinates the execution of activities relating to acquisition, installation and maintenance of commercial and. Supply and
    Distribution infrastructure, facilities and equipment at Shell commercial customers and Vivo Energy-owned depots to ensure
    appropriate support of the engineering and marketing strategy of the Company.
     
     
    Qualifications and Experience:
     
     
    • BSc (Eng) practical Engineer in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Expertise in key functional areas to be at a sufficiently high level to provide long-term direction and to support the day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities of the depots.
    • Experience with multi-faceted projects in a fast paced environment.
    • Experience with Depot Engineering Projects, operation and Maintenance will be an added advantage.
    • A valid Driver’s license class B is mandatory. Principal Accountabilities:
    • Project management- manage projects from conception to completion, conduct inspections and contractors’ audit.
    • Keep key operational/maintenance documents/drawings and records up-to-date.
    • Optimise the utilisation of resources and facilitate the communication between all stakeholders involved in asset management.
    • Customer relations – maintain a technical interface between customers and Business managers.
    • Plan routine/shutdown maintenance of Commercial & Distribution infrastructure, facilities and equipment.
    • Compiling annual maintenance budgets.
    • Implement all maintenance and installation plan within budget.
    • Implement a safe and healthy work environment at commercial sites and depots during maintenance and projects execution and ensure compliance with HSSE standards and EIA legislation.
    • Take leading roll in selection, appointment, accreditation, management of contractors and contract requirements.
    • Managing Key Performance Maintenance Measures for the depots – ensure full operation of SAP PM.
    • Identify critical activities/processes and develop appropriate procedures/method statements.
    • Performance/quality control of engineering work.
    • Regularly audit/inspect depots and commercial customers’ installations to ensure adherence to statutory, engineering and industry standards.
    • Planning and execution of plant changes.
    • Ensure asset inventory at depots and commercial customers’ sites is updated and the movement of assets recorded.
    • Plan, execute and evaluation of OPEX and CAPEX projects.
    • Keep abreast of new methods, technology and legislation that may impact on storage & handling/supplies/ maintenance and equipment selection within the region.
