Requirements
Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (essential), with traceable references
Post-trade experience in the maintenance and operation of crushing and screening plants
Hands-on experience with Metso crushing and screening equipment and Volvo earthmoving machinery
Mechanical, hydraulic and fault-finding skills
Proven experience in preventive maintenance systems and breakdown management
Experience ensuring compliance with safety, health and environmental requirements in a mining or quarry environment
Ability to identify, diagnose and resolve mechanical and production-related issues timeously
Must be able to work independently, under pressure and in remote site conditions
