The scope of the social service league includes the main hospital in Parklands, the Village Market Medical Clinic, and the Dinshaw Byramjee Dispensary and Dental Unit located in Nairobi downtown, at Ronald Ngala Street.

Job Purpose

The overall purpose of this role is to be responsible for the brand strategy of M.P Shah Hospital target market by ensuring brand integrity that pushes products and services that resonate with current and potential needs of the hospital  through PR and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Brand Awareness – In line with the Hospital Strategy, understand market trends and create annual brand and marketing campaigns through assessing strategic partner opportunities, reviewing market activities, understanding hospital key drivers to deliver brand awareness. As part of enhancing our brand work towards creating crisis plans and setting image standards, Enhance our brand visibility through identification of CSR activities to be undertaken by the hospital on a quarterly basis.
Brand standardization – To ensure that we have a standardize brand, the brand manager will undertake to review all documents of the hospital before for they are published. They are in charge of development of all hospital communication material for the hospital and should ensure that over and above standardization there is visibility through regular development of content to market.
Hospital Communication – The brand manager provides support to all hospital departments in different capacities e.g. Patient educational materials, documents editing and restructuring, providing signage and branding materials etc.
Media & Social media engagement – Ensure coverage for both mainstream and alternative media outlets. Raise social media overall engagement to 1.6% per month.
Marketing campaigns – Generate Proposals for the campaigns of the month, set a budget for each and reach out to partners e.g. influencers, media houses, hospital departments…etc. then implement the campaign.

Minimum Qualifications, Regulatory & Legal Requirements

Degree in business administration, marketing, public relations or related course
Professional certification in marketing e.g. CIM, CIPR
3 years’ experience in PR and marketing, with prior experience managing a team
Proven marketing campaign experience.
Proven ability to manage budgets.
Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing.
