The Integration/API Tester is responsible for validating integrations between the core banking system (T24/Temenos) and surrounding systems such as mobile banking, internet banking, payment gateways, and third-party services. The role ensures seamless, secure, and accurate data exchange across all integrated platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute integration and API test cases for T24 interfaces
Validate APIs supporting channels such as mobile banking, agency banking, and internet banking
Perform end-to-end testing of transactions across systems
Validate ISO 8583 / ISO 20022 message formats where applicable
Test integrations with payment switches, middleware, and third-party systems
Analyze API documentation and derive comprehensive test scenarios
Perform data validation between T24 and interfacing systems
Identify, log, and track defects
Support SIT and pre-UAT phases
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and vendors
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
3–6 years’ experience in API/Integration testing within banking systems
Hands-on experience with T24/Temenos integrations
Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs
Experience with Postman or SoapUI
Knowledge of JSON, XML, and message validation
Understanding of banking transaction flows
Basic SQL skills
