Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Valid teaching certification (e.g., state/provincial license, TSC, PGCE, or equivalent).
Master’s degree in the relevant subject area or a related field (preferred).
Professional Experience
Minimum of 4 years of Art teaching experience.
Professional Skills & Competencies
Cultural proficiency and understanding of intercultural learning with teaching experience in a multicultural setting.
Competent in using educational technology, including the Google Suite, and effectively integrating technology into instruction.
Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid understanding of pedagogy and instructional approaches aligned with ISK’s educational aims, including:
Understanding by Design model
Social Emotional Learning
Integration and interdisciplinary learning
Cultural proficiency and Communication skills
Student-centered and strengths-based approach
Integration and conceptual inquiry
