JOB PURPOSE

The Shop Manager is responsible for overall day-to-day operations of the TechZone store, driving sales growth, managing staff performance, ensuring excellent customer experience, controlling stock, and safeguarding company assets while maintaining TechZone brand standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Revenue Management

Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets (phones, accessories
Monitor sales performance and submit daily sales reports.

Staff Management & Leadership

Supervise sales attendants and support staff.
Customer service and selling skills
POS systems and payment methods
Set daily targets and conduct morning briefs.
Monitor staff discipline, punctuality, grooming, and professionalism.

Customer Experience & Service

Ensure customers receive friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service.
Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve them promptly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive shop environment.

Stock & Inventory Control

Receive, verify, and record all stock.
Ensure proper stock storage and display.
Conduct daily spot checks and regular full stock counts.
Reconcile physical stock with system stock and report discrepancies immediately.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Coordinate with head office on supplies, maintenance, and operational needs.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

Monthly sales target achievement
Customer satisfaction & complaint resolution
Staff performance and discipline
Cash and stock reconciliation accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Management, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years experience in retail management (electronics or phone retail preferred).
Strong sales and customer service background.
Experience managing a team and handling stock.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Strong leadership and people-management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
High integrity and attention to detail
Good understanding of smartphones, gadgets, and accessories
Basic computer skills (POS, Excel, inventory systems)
Ability to meet targets
