Job Description

To develop and implement a Category strategy for managing the Real Estate, facilities, Operations and Branch category of commodities by identifying go-to-market strategies, identifying commodity-specific compliant suppliers, commodity Sourcing plans to minimise Procurement costs and optimise benefits for Stanbic Bank Kenya while enabling the achievement of the organisation’s targets. This role also requires procurement risk & governance knowledge and stakeholder engagement at various levels of the organisation with very clear and precise communication and reporting to the banks various stakeholders.

Qualifications

Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Purchasing and Procurement or any other related field
Preferred Professional Qualification: MCIPS or CPSP-K equivalent
Registered member in good standing with KISM (Kenya Institute of Supplies Management)

Experience Required

5-7 years
Procurement Category Strategic Sourcing experience and Procurement knowledge in Real Estate, Operations & facilities commodity sourcing with accountability for a category of goods and/or services.
A proven track record in procurement contracting with strong negotiation, supplier relationship management, alternative sourcing and cost modelling skills. An ability to effectively communicate with multiple and varied internal and external stakeholders.
Has knowledge of sustainability, risk and governance to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and CSR.
