About the job

Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations: sourcing, warehousing (intakes, dispatch, returns), logistics and inventory; to ensure smooth daily operations and zero stockouts. Set OKRS (Objectives and Key results/KPIs) measurable objectives for the sourcing and warehouse team; manage stock levels, margins and waste for each team on weekly and monthly basis Taimba Winning Create: inculcate culture of excellence performance by attracting, developing, and retaining only top talent across the function.
Lead the development and implementation of SOPs and policies to strengthen process control and eliminate inefficiencies or any potential waste.
Maintain accurate, real-time ERP (Odoo) data for all inventory movements; reconcile system stocks, assets with physical stock on schedule.
Supervise stock intake, loading, dispatch, returns, and banana processing (where applicable), ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Drive full adoption of demand forecasting and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to balance supply with market needs from your teams Lead warehouse and sourcing teams: structure roles, set targets, coach and hold teams accountable for output and quality.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Technology to ensure coordinated planning, visibility, and on-time execution of supply chain projects.
Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement projects that lift productivity and reduce operational costs.
Own inventory & warehousing processes end-to-end: floor layout, receipt, batching, barcoding/SKU creation, staff management, stock takes and variance investigation, stock movements, replenishment, dead-stock disposal, and quality control.
Develop supply planning strategies for existing items, new products, and phase-outs to maintain optimum inventory. Implement the right SOPs and controls; enforce adherence and close control gaps Continuously build supplier networks while improving quality and cost-to-serve to support business growth. Engage internal stakeholders proactively and represent the company credibly with suppliers and external partners.
Own strategic planning, procurement & vendor management, risk mitigation, logistics & distribution, performance analysis & improvement, compliance and budgeting. Ensure suppliers consistently meet quality, safety, documentation, and compliance standards while enforcing relevant SOPs.
