About The Financial Inclusion for Youth and MSMEs in Agriculture (FIYMA) Program
The Financial Inclusion for Youth and MSMEs in Agriculture (FIYMA) program aims to overcome barriers to finance for young women and men in agribusiness by leveraging SACCOs and cooperatives to deliver affordable, flexible credit across 32 Kenyan counties.

The program focuses on six priority agricultural value chains: Dairy; Livestock & Poultry; Fisheries & Aquaculture; Irish Potatoes; Pulses; Fruits & Vegetables, implemented across 28 counties in Kenya.

The Program is a five-year initiative (2025–2030) implemented by MESPT, EAMDA, NCBA-CLUSA, and WEL in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.
Program Target Regions:
Central Region (Kiambu and Nyeri Counties)
Eastern Region (Makueni, Kitui and Machakos Counties)
JOB DESCRIPTION
NCBA CLUSA is seeking to recruit Community Coaches (Volunteers) to support the implementation of the FIYMA program across selected regions.

The Community Coach will support youth mobilization, mentorship, and linkage activities under the FIYMA Program at county level.

The role involves working closely with youth groups, community stakeholders, and value chain actors to ensure effective delivery of program activities and meaningful youth engagement.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Map and mobilize existing youth groups within priority value chains
Provide capacity building and mentorship to youth groups
Support data collection, monitoring, and reporting
Document success stories, lessons learned, and challenges
Create linkages to SACCOs, markets, and other service providers
Support risk identification and management
Maintain strong relationships with county stakeholders
Provide regular beneficiary feedback and community insights
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
🎓 Qualifications
Minimum Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Community Development, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Cooperatives, or related field
Experience working with youth groups, cooperatives, or rural communities is an advantage
Basic understanding of agricultural value chains and youth inclusion models
Strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Resident of the target county and fluent in at least one local language
Computer literacy and willingness to travel locally
Applicant must be below 30 years of age.
