Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
Be an advocate ofthe high court as an advocate with a proven Work experience of three 3 years within which he/she has appeared before superior courts representing clients in litigation.
Bachelors of Laws LL. B degree from a recognized university in Kenya;
Postgraduate Diploma in law from the Council of Legal Education;
Has been in active member of the law society of Kenya for the last 5 years from the date of the roll as an advocate
Possession of a current Practicing Certificate as an Advocate;
Proficiency in computer applications; and
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
