Our client, a leading water engineering solutions company based in Nairobi, is seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Technical Sales Executive to drive business growth by promoting water engineering products and solutions.

This position requires a combination of technical expertise and sales skills to identify client needs, develop customized solutions, and build long-term customer relationships.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the water engineering and construction sectors.
Promote and sell the company’s water engineering products, equipment, and technical solutions.
Conduct site visits to understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training to clients where required.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, engineers and other key stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with engineering and operations teams during project implementation.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence reports.
Ensure achievement of assigned sales targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical sales within water engineering, pumps, piping, irrigation, boreholes, water treatment, or related industries.
Strong technical understanding of water engineering systems and solutions.
Experience preparing technical proposals and tender documents.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Technical problem-solving skills

Strong analytical and presentation skills
Self-driven with excellent planning and organizational abilities
