Role Description
The Experienced Sales Lead Generator is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business leads to support the company’s growth objectives. This full-time hybrid role is based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements.
Day-to-day tasks include researching potential clients, initiating contact through calls, emails, and online channels, and maintaining accurate records of leads and interactions in CRM or tracking tools.
The role involves collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to refine targeting strategies, scheduling meetings or introductions between prospects and business owners, and following up consistently to move leads through the sales pipeline.
The Successful candidate will be expected to meet lead generation targets, provide regular reporting on pipeline performance, and contribute ideas to improve outreach and conversion effectiveness.
Qualifications
Strong experience in sales prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management, preferably in a B2B or network-driven environment.
Proficiency in using CRM systems or lead tracking tools, as well as basic office software e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, conduct professional outreach, and engage business owners confidently.
Solid research and analytical skills to identify target markets, evaluate potential opportunities, and prioritize high-value leads.
Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain productivity in both office and remote settings.
Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales or lead generation targets.
Understanding of business development, networking, and basic sales principles; experience in financial services or business advisory is an added advantage.
Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
