Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver competency-based training in Hospitality Accounting, Cost Control, Financial Management, Bookkeeping, and other business-related units.
Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, schemes of work, and learner assessments.
Conduct continuous assessments and maintain accurate academic records.
Guide learners in applying accounting principles to hospitality operations.
Integrate accounting software, ICT, and modern financial management practices into teaching.
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor students and supervise industrial attachment where applicable.
Support student recruitment, academic advising, and other institutional activities.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration Accounting/FinanceOption, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
CPA K, ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage.
TVET Trainer Qualification TVETA Trainer Certificate will be an added advantage.
Minimum of three 3 years’ teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
Sound knowledge of Hospitality Accounting, Cost Control, Financial Reporting, and Computerized Accounting Systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software.
Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, and ICT skills.
