Job Description
Eligibility
Students pursuing a degree or diploma in Journal- ism, Media Studies, Communications, Digital Com- munication or Corporate Communication who meet the requirements below are eligible to apply.
The Media Council of Kenya MCK, in partnership with recognised media houses, runs a media industrial attachment programme designed to provide journalism and communication students with practical work experience before graduation and to prepare them for the job market.
Application Requirements
Final-year students at a recognised university or college.
Recommendation letter from the university/college, issued within the last two months, stating the period for which placement is required.
Academic transcripts for the current academic year.
Valid Student Identification Card.
Valid MCK Student Press Card 2026.
Mandatory sample of journalistic work this may include published online content, school projects, etc.
