Job Description
About the Role
Operate and maintain the boiler systems that provide steam and hot water required for processing
Responsibilities
Boiler operation
Monitor boiler systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on boiler systems.
Diagnose and repair boiler system issues.
Conduct safety tests and system checks to ensure reliability.
Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Manage fuel inventory and other consumables necessary for boiler operation.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the boiler system.
Food safety implementation
Follow all Safety, Health, Environment and Quality SHEQ requirements in the shift.
Process improvement
Propose the best ways to reduce energy consumption in the boiler.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
Minimum academic Qualification: a certificate in boiler operation or Mechanical or electrical engineering will be needed.
Work Experience: 2+ years of working experience operating boilers
NITA Certification
