Job Description
The Association of Media Women in Kenya AMWIK is seeking VOLUNTEERS to join our team. Do you have passion for resource mobilization, skills in grant writing, eye for donor funding? AMWIK is looking for you.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Professionals in Communications, project management, Development Studies, or related fields.
Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
Background in Finance and development sectors is an added advantage.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Commitment: 2-3 days per week at our Nairobi office.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
You will play a pivotal role in strengthening AMWIK’s sustainability. Key tasks include:
Fundraising: Identifying and mapping new funding opportunities, corporate partnerships, and grant calls that align with AMWIK’s strategic pillars.
Proposal Development: Assisting in drafting compelling grant narratives, concept notes, and expressions of interest.
Donor Stewardship: Supporting the maintenance of our donor database and tracking reporting timelines.
Strategy Support: Contributing internal brainstorms on innovative resource mobilization strategies
