Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this position, a candidate must have: –
Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
Background training in Competency-Based Education TrainingCBET
Pedagogy in Education, training, Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority TVETA Registration, Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable will be an added advantage
One who is reliable and of high integrity.
Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus
Prepare teaching/learning materials and schemes of work
Develop Technical teaching and Training Materials.
Setting and marking examinations/assignments
Supervision of trainees on attachment
Instructing, guiding and evaluating trainees in practical exercises
Reporting progress and overall performance of individual trainees
Participating in development of curriculum and training programmes
Undertaking/ carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer

One (1) position is reserved for a candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree, while the other is reserved for a candidate with a Diploma Certificate.
