Are you a compassionate, skilled, and patient-centred Registered Nurse with experience in maternity and paediatric care? We are seeking a dedicated
Locum Registered Nurse
to join our dynamic clinical team and support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to mothers, newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
Monitor and assess patients, promptly escalating any changes in condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist in labour, delivery, postnatal care, and neonatal care within your scope of practice.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, newborn care, breastfeeding, and health promotion.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Collaborate effectively with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
Adhere to infection prevention and control standards, patient safety protocols, and hospital policies.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Registered with the
Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)
with a valid practising licence.
Valid BLS certification (ACLS/NALS will be an added advantage).
Minimum of
2 years’ experience
in a maternity and/or paediatric setting.
Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) with a valid practising licence. Valid BLS certification (ACLS/NALS will be an added advantage).
