About Our ClientOur client is a social impact organisation based in Mauritius, working at the intersection of charity and social entrepreneurship.Its mission focuses on supporting vulnerable communities through projects related to education, healthcare, and women’s empowerment, both locally and internationally.The organisation is involved in charitable initiatives as well as a social enterprise that promotes ethical production, skills development, and economic independence for women.This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects with long-term social impact. Role OverviewOur client is looking for a hands-on, organised and proactive professional to manage marketing and communication activities, support events and fundraising initiatives, and provide administrative support.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, taking initiative, and working in a small, dynamic organisation where flexibility is essential. Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & CommunicationContribute to the development and execution of marketing and communication strategiesCreate, schedule and publish content for social media platformsManage and animate social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)Draft newsletters, communication materials and website contentEnsure brand consistency across all communication channelsEvents & DevelopmentAssist in the organisation of events, fundraising activities and charity salesSupport event logistics before, during and after eventsRepresent the organisation at events and partner initiatives when requiredAdministration & SecretariatProvide administrative support to senior managementManage calendars, appointments and basic planningMaintain organised records, documents and databasesAssist with general operational tasks as neededProvide and manage access to the showroom, present the brand and its collections and coordinate invitations to relevant stakeholdersOrganize and lead monthly sales activities in local markets (once per month).Candidate ProfileMinimum 2–3 professional experiences in marketing, communication, administration or a similar roleComfortable working in a multi-task, evolving roleStrong organisational and time-management skillsAutonomous, proactive and adaptableGenuine interest in the non-profit / social impact sectorGood working knowledge of digital tools (social media platforms, Google Workspace, Canva, etc.)Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
