Perform basic culinary tasks and assist the Demi Chef de Partie/ Pastry Chef in preparation of bread, pastries and desserts.
 
Duties & Responsibilities: Clean and sanitise working top every time before proceeding with other tasks and at the end of shiftPortion cakes, bake basic pastries for breakfast and display on buffetPrepares ingredients for mise en place of lunch and dinner, as per quality and quantity standardDisplay final products on buffetClear away buffet after breakfast and lunch servicePrepare and responsible of pancake station at tea time- breakfast and afternoon teaAssist in other outlet when necessaryPerform any cognate duties assigned by Pastry ChefThe Cook – Bakery & Pastry will be required to conduct his duties in a respectful, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, brand standards and code of conduct, ensuring that he provides support to the Pastry Chef in providing a high level of service is maintained by his team at all timesQualification StandardQualifications: Form 4, NC3 Food ProductionExperience: Atleast 2 years experiencePersonal Qualities: Organisational Skills, Planning and Good communicationWe believe in equal opportunities.We celebrate diversity and champion equality and inclusion, encouraging people from all ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations and ages to apply.
