Forklift Driver

Experienced, certified forklift operator skilled in loading/unloading, storage, and equipment upkeep. Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and physically fit. Team player with mechanical knowledge, ability to work flexible hours, fluent in English, French, and Creole.
 
Role:- Operate powered industrial mobile equipment for loading and unloading operations- Unload materials from incoming vehicles and store them in assigned places- Weigh materials and record weight and other production data on tags- Ensure organisation and safety of all materials in storage areas- Proceed with material loading and unloading on platform and lifting devices- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies- Move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or delivery- Maintain forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning- Inspect machinery for needs for repairs and perform regular maintenance- Maintain daily records of forklift care and maintenance- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs- Maintain a safe and orderly environment- Ensure proper housekeeping of plant and equipment Profile:- Holder of a School Certificate – At least 2 years in a similar position- Preferably residing in the East region- Valid certification to operate forklifts- Proven experience as forklift operator- Knowledge of Mechanical and/or Electrical field- Team Player- Ability to work odd hours- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment- Excellent physical condition- Fluent in English, French and Creole
