RRCL is recruiting lorry drivers to join its organisation to transport and deliver construction materials to its various sites around the island.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:Safely operate company vehicles for the transportation and distribution of materials to designated locations.Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials while maintaining a high standard of service.Inspect and maintain the vehicle before and after deliveries, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and in good working condition.Load and unload products as necessary, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to management immediately.Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while on the road.Communicate effectively with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations.Assist with other duties related to product handling and logistics as needed.Ensure that all documents / paperwork is properly filled.Perform any other duties assigned by management.Qualifications and Requirements:Valid driver’s license for Goods Vehicle with a clean driving record.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.Physical ability to lift and carry products as required.Knowledge of the local area and routes is a plus.Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
