We are looking for a Trainee Finance Controls to join MEDINE GROUP | Support Services.
 
Duties & responsibilities:1. Financial Control SupportAssist in the implementation and monitoring of financial control processes.Assist in physical inventories across Medine BU’s.Support Finance Specialist – Controls and help ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.2. Reporting and DocumentationHelp prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for review.Maintain and update financial records and databases, ensuring they reflect current transactions and balances.3. Process ImprovementIdentify and suggest improvements to internal processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.Work closely with Finance Specialist – Controls to implement best practices in financial control procedures.Support the automation and streamlining of financial control functions, where applicable.4. Data Analysis & ReconciliationAssist with the analysis of financial data to identify discrepancies, trends and opportunities for cost savings.Collaborate with different departments to clarify financial data and resolve any issues.5. Compliance and Risk ManagementMonitor financial transactions and flag any irregularities or potential risks.Assist in the identification and mitigation of financial risks by adhering to company policies and controls. 6. Collaboration and CommunicationWork closely with other teams (e.g, accounting, procurement, operations) to ensure smooth coordination of financial processes.Assist in the preparation of presentations for meetings.Communicate findings and issues to Finance Specialists – Controls in a clear and concise manner. CANDIDATE’S PROFILEQualifications Required: Higher School Certificate or Equivalent Key competences (Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, Behaviours):Knowledge of basic accounting procedures. Knowledge of related computer applications.  Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Good planning and organizing skills. Able to work under pressure. Attention to details, and ability to be multi-task in the finance department. Cooperative and willing to assist others.  Good communication and coordination with colleagues.
