Position: Writer / Columnist – UK Online Journal (Based in Mauritius)Working Hours: UK Hours (Monday to Friday)Type: Full-Time/ Part-TimeSalary: Competitive, Based on Experience We are looking for talented writers to join our editorial team supporting a UK-based online journal. The role is office-based in Mauritius with the possibility of hybrid or part-time arrangements.Key ResponsibilitiesWrite on assigned weekly topics related to Finance. This is a desk-based writing role not field journalismResearch, write and edit high-quality articles for publication on our online platformEnsure all content meets editoral standards, including clarity, structure and toneContribute creative ideas for new columns or features relevant to UK readersCollaborate with editors and the wider team to meet publishing deadlinesRequirementsExcellent command of written and spoken English with impeccable grammar and a rich vocabularyStrong writing skills with an ability to adapt tone and style depending on the topicPrior experience in writing, journalism or content creation is an advantage but not mandatorySelection ProcessAs part of the selection process, shortlistd candidates will be given a specific topic to write about.
