    Job Description

    The Customs Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating customs clearance activities for WD Associates Ltd., ensuring that all imports, exports, ship supplies, crew-related shipments and logistics movements are processed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with applicable customs and port requirements. The position will work closely with the Operations, Logistics, Accounts and Shipchandling teams, as well as customs authorities, shipping agents, suppliers, transporters and vessel representatives.

    Prepare and submit customs declarations and required documents. Coordinate customs clearance for ship spares, provisions, equipment and other cargo. Liaise with Customs, port authorities, shipping agents, suppliers and transporters. Follow up on customs approvals, inspections, duties and cargo release. Ensure all customs documents are accurate, complete and properly filed. Coordinate with the Operations and Logistics teams for timely delivery of cleared items. Monitor customs requirements and ensure compliance with applicable procedures. Provide regular updates to management on clearance status and any delays. Assist with vessel and port-related customs formalities when required. Perform other duties assigned by management.
