Safe Operation: Driving 40-ton vehicles on public roads or specialized, often rough, terrains. Load Management: Loading, unloading, securing, and covering heavy goods to prevent damage or loss, ensuring weight is properly distributed. Vehicle Maintenance: Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluids. Minor Repairs: Performing minor roadside repairs such as changing tires or bulbs. Documentation & Logging: Maintaining accurate logbooks, including fuel consumption, mileage, cargo documents, and hours of service, complying with transportation regulations. Route Planning: Using GPS to plan routes, taking into account traffic, weather, and construction. Reporting: Reporting mechanical issues and incidents immediately
