    Job Description

    Background
    The project seeks to improve community resilience, participation, and ownership of project interventions across Katsina State Daura, Charanchi and Batagarawa LGAs.
    The Community Mobilization Officers will serve as the link between the project and target communities, ensuring effective community engagement, participation, awareness creation, and mobilization for project activities.
    The role will support project-wide implementation and community-level coordination.
    Purpose of the Position
    To mobilize communities, strengthen stakeholder participation, and support the successful implementation of project activities through effective community engagement and communication.
    Key Responsibilities
    Community Mobilization and Engagement:
    Mobilize beneficiaries and community stakeholders for project activities.
    Facilitate community meetings, consultations, and sensitization sessions.
    Promote community participation and ownership of project interventions.
    Engage traditional, religious, women, and youth leaders in project implementation.
    Stakeholder Coordination:
    Build and maintain positive relationships with community leaders and local authorities.
    Support the establishment and strengthening of community structures and committees.
    Facilitate collaboration between the project and community stakeholders.
    Awareness Raising and Communication:
    Conduct awareness campaigns on project objectives and activities.
    Disseminate project information to target communities.
    Support behavior change and community outreach initiatives.
    Monitoring and Reporting:
    Collect community feedback and concerns.
    Monitor community participation and engagement levels.
    Prepare activity reports and community mobilization updates.
    Document lessons learned, success stories, and challenges.
    Qualifications and Experience
    Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
    1–2 years’ experience in community mobilization, outreach, or development programming.
    Experience working with community groups and local stakeholders.
    Strong communication and facilitation skills.

    Job Description
    We are seeking threededicated Case Workers to provide essential support to vulnerable individuals and families in Katsina State Daura, Charanchi and Batagarawa LGAs
    The successful candidates will be responsible for managing individual cases, ensuring all clients receive timely and appropriate assistance, and coordinating with other service providers to meet their needs.
    This role is crucial for delivering compassionate and effective humanitarian aid to conflict-affected communities.
    Responsibilities
    Case Management: Conduct assessments to identify the needs of vulnerable individuals and families. This includes developing and implementing case plans, providing direct support, and making referrals to specialised services such as health, legal, and psychosocial support.
    Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential case files for all clients. This involves documenting all interactions, services provided, and progress toward case goals. Prepare regular reports on case management activities and challenges.
    Service Coordination: Work closely with other Bincike International teams, local authorities, and partner organisations to ensure a coordinated and holistic response to client needs.
    Community Engagement: Build trust and rapport with community members to identify new cases and ensure the program is accessible and relevant to the needs of the population.
    Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and client safety, ensuring all activities are conducted in line with Bincike International’s safeguarding policies and a do-no-harm approach.
    Requirements
    Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
    Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in case management, social work, or a related field, preferably within a humanitarian or non-profit setting. Experience working in the specified LGAs is a plus.
    Knowledge: Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and best practices in case management. Familiarity with the social and cultural context of Katsina state is essential.
    Skills:
    Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
    The ability to work under pressure, manage a high caseload, and maintain a professional demeanour.
    Fluency in English and a local language relevant to the specific LGA e.g., Hausa is required.
