About the Job
Blue Phoenix Deepwater Limited, a leading indigenous provider of subsea diving, underwater inspection, repair, and maintenance services for offshore and nearshore floating assets in the oil, gas, and marine industry, is partnering with Stena Drilling, a leading international drilling company to recruit personnel for a long-term offshore deep-sea drilling project in Nigeria.
Key duties and responsibilities
Review all operational programmes and forward planning schedules, with particular focus on preparation and planning to ensure optimal operational critical path performance
Attend all relevant pre-planning, HSE and operational meetings
Promote flat time reduction and all related efficiencies especially as part of the pre-job phase
Assist Stena and third-party crews in achieving improvements
Establish and maintain active communication with third party personnel to ensure all third-party equipment and personnel are ready in good time.
Required skills and experience
Previous experience as Forward Planner
Previous experience operating drilling equipment with Cyberbase systems
Proven experience with a Schlumberger Deepwater MPD operation including its hardware and control system
Previous experience offshore drilling on a duel operating ram rig
18 years relative experience.
