The Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished, strategic and highly credible communications professional to lead the Airport’s Corporate Communications & Stakeholder Relations function.
The Head, Corporate Communications & Stakeholder Relations will lead the development and execution of Aero Alliance’s corporate communications, media, government and institutional relations, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, community relations, crisis communications and reputation management strategies.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted adviser to the MD/CEO and Executive Management, ensuring that Aero Alliance communicates with one credible voice, maintains strong stakeholder relationships and protects the reputation of AIIA.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute the Airport’s Corporate Communications & Stakeholder Relations Strategy.
Lead media, public, government, regulatory and institutional stakeholder relations.
Manage corporate reputation, executive communications and strategic messaging.
Develop and coordinate crisis communications and issues-management frameworks.
Strengthen relationships with government agencies, regulators, airlines, communities, media and other strategic stakeholders.
Lead internal communications, employee engagement messaging and change communications.
Oversee corporate publications, stakeholder events, protocol, CSR and communication analytics.
Provide strategic communications counsel to the MD/CEO and Executive Management.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, English/Communication Arts or a related discipline.
A Master’s Degree/MBA in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Strategic Communications, International Relations, Business Administration, Marketing or Public Policy is desirable.
Professional membership of NIPR, Chartered Institute of Marketing, IABC or relevant professional/aviation bodies will be an advantage.
12–15 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, stakeholder engagement, government relations and reputation management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience managing communications during operational disruptions, incidents, reputational or regulatory issues and major organisational change.
Strong media, government and institutional stakeholder networks and excellent executive communication skills.
Experience in aviation, airports, transportation, infrastructure, government-facing or other regulated organisations is strongly preferred.
Exceptional strategic thinking, diplomacy, executive presence, judgement, integrity and crisis leadership.
