About the Role
A leading MEP Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead HVAC design, MEP BIM coordination, and the technical delivery of Mechanical Building Services projects — from concept through construction and handover.
Strong exposure to Design & Build projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and mixed-use developments is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full HVAC design chilled water, VRF/VRV, AHU/FAHU/FCU, smoke management, ventilation systems, including load calculations and equipment sizing.
Design plumbing domestic water, drainage and fire protection systems NFPA-compliant sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, clean agent.
Develop and coordinate BIM models Revit MEP, LOD 200–400; run clash detection in Navisworks.
Prepare tender, IFC, shop, and as-built documentation, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients; mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Valid COREN registration mandatory.
Minimum 10 years’ experience with a leading MEP Contractor.
Strong working knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC/UPC, and CIBSE standards.
Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and HAP.
