Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Superintendent to supervise and optimize production processes at our Ikeja factory.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient manufacturing operations, supporting the maintenance of quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities
The core duties and responsibilities for this role include:
Production & Operations Management: Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficiency and the timely delivery of products .
Planning & Scheduling: Implement and monitor production schedules to meet demand requirements effectively .
Quality Control: Enforce quality control standards to maintain product excellence throughout the manufacturing process .
Resource Allocation: Optimize manpower allocation and ensure adherence to safety regulations at all times .
Equipment & Maintenance: Monitor equipment performance and liaise with the maintenance team to schedule preventive and corrective actions, minimizing downtime.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for the role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Education: An OND / HND / BSc in Engineering, Production Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the foam, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), or a related industry.
Skills: Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and quality control techniques.
